Crown Princess has arrived in Southampton for its UK spring and summer season.

The 3,080-guest ship – which will be the first UK-based ship to feature Princess Cruises’ Ocean Medallion technology from 24 July onwards – will sail the British Isles on a series of 12-night voyages.

A sample itinerary is the 12-night British Isles cruise, departing Southampton on 17 August 2019. Ports of call include Guernsey (St. Peter Port), Cork, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Invergordon, Edinburgh and Paris/Normandy (Le Havre). Prices start from £1,099pp.

To date, three ships have been Medallion activated – Caribbean Princess, Regal Princess and Royal Princess.

The Medallion device, which is the size of a 10 pence piece, makes it quicker and easier to get on and off the ship, opens cabin doors and also allows guests to order drinks and snacks.

In September, Crown Princess will move to Fort Lauderdale for roundtrip Caribbean sailings. The ship will then return to the UK from May-November 2020, to sail from Southampton on a series of cruises to the Mediterranean, Canary Islands and northern Europe.

A 17-night Mediterranean and Greek Isles cruise, departing 6 November 2020, starts at £1,799pp. Destinations include Seville, Valletta, Mykonos, Santorini and Cartagena, among others.

Princess is currently offering a free bottle of wine, complimentary speciality dining and up to $250 to spend on board per person for guests booking on more than 700 select sailings departing in 2019 and 2020.

The deal is available from 1 May to 1 July 2019 and includes sailings from the UK and Europe. Voyages included start from £299pp and range in length from four to 77 nights.
