CroisiEurope has announced plans to launch what it claims will be the first-ever modern paddlewheel cruises on the Seine

R.E. Waydelich L.J, which can accommodate 81 guests in 42 cabins and will feature a restaurant, lounge bar and spacious sun deck, will operate two new itineraries, departing between April and November.

The five-night Little Gems of the Seine cruise explores charming villages and famous landmarks, including the Château de Fontainebleau, Monet’s gardens at Giverny, the Île de la Cité in central Paris, and the beautiful cliffside village of La Roche-Guyon.

Ports of call include Melun, Saint-Mammes, Corbeil-Essonnes and La Roche-Guyon. Prices start from £1,158 per person, including all meals and drinks, Wi-Fi, port fees, and repatriation insurance. Departures run from March to November 2026.

Meanwhile, the seven-night The History of France from Paris to Normandy cruise offers a blend of heritage, art, and natural beauty.

Guests will visit Versailles, Fontainebleau, Monet’s gardens, the MuséoSeine, and historic Rouen. The itinerary also includes stops in Melun, Mantes-la-Jolie, Caudebec-en-Caux, Rouen, and La Roche-Guyon.

Fares start from £1,639 per person, with all-inclusive pricing. Departures are available from April to September 2026.

The news follows CroisiEurope recent announcement that it will launch its first-ever Amazon River itineraries in 2027 onboard a new luxury ship.
