Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has revealed the finalists for the River Cruise Excellence Awards 2018. The awards recognise those that contribute to the ever-growing river cruise industry, which has seen unprecedented growth in recent years. A record number of 210,400 British travellers booked a river cruise in 2017, up 21 percent from the year before.

The awards ceremony will be hosted during CLIA’s annual River Cruise Conference in Paris on 10 November. On the day, CLIA will announce the winner of the River Cruise Agent of the Year, sponsored by Riviera Travel.

CLIA UK & Ireland director Andy Harmer commented: “This awards ceremony celebrates the continued success of the river cruise sector and recognises the individuals and businesses that make a huge contribution to helping this industry grow. All finalists should feel extremely proud of the hard work and dedication they put into this sector and we look forward to celebrating their impressive achievements.”
