Celestyal has overhauled its fare structure and pre-cruise packages with two new initiatives designed to “enhance the guest experience”
Celestyal One, which will replace the current Experience and Experience Plus packages, will include the cruise fare and WiFi, filter coffee, tea, water and juice throughout the day from 6am-10pm, unlimited soft drinks in the main restaurants with meals, and port fees, taxes, and gratuities.
In a bid to simplify its drinks offering, Celestyal has also replaced all beverage packages with a prepaid food and beverage wallet called CelestyalPay, which will be used onboard for any non-complimentary food and drink purchases.
Guests can either add the charges to their account as they go or will be invited to preload prior to sailing to receive top-up bonus credit from the cruise line. The preload purchases will be commissionable for agents.
Furthermore, Celestyal has enhanced its complimentary dining offering with the addition of the Greek Deli and Pizza Oven, as well as the main restaurant Thalassa and buffet-style Taverna across the line’s two-ship fleet.
The changes will take effect on all bookings from 11 December 2024 for cruises departing from 21 March 2025.
Lee Haslett, chief commercial officer at Celestyal, said: “We’re passionate about high value – whether it’s value for time, money or experience. So, we’re thrilled to be introducing our new ‘Celestyal One’ fare structure and ‘CelestyalPay’ as a direct response to feedback from our guests and travel agent partners.
“From complimentary essential WiFi, unlimited soft drinks and crew gratuities to an expanded range of locally inspired dining options, we’re making sure guests have everything they need to enjoy their time onboard with ease and convenience.”
Celestyal to boost cabins on Discovery
The line also revealed additional investment into its fleet with the latest refit plans for the its newest ship, Celestyal Discovery, which will see the introduction of 47 additional cabins, increasing the vessel’s overall capacity to 1,300.
The new staterooms will include two Grand Horizon Suites featuring expansive balconies and a unique position above the bridge, with designs varying across the season influenced by Celestyal’s homeport destinations.
There will also be the addition of 30 newly designed Junior Dream Suites, a new stateroom category and 15 further interior Cosmos Cabins. All additions will be completed on Discovery by April 2025, with the new cabins on sale from 10 December 2024.
