Celebrity hosts agents onboard Apex after record breaking season

Celebrity Cruises Celebrity Apex

Celebrity Cruises hosted nine agents onboard Celebrity Apex last week after the ship marked the end of its record-breaking first homeport season from Southampton

Agents in attendance won their places following the cruise line’s partnership with CLIA during cruise week in September.

The winners and their guests took part in behind-the-scenes tours, backstage meet and greets with theatre cast and performers and sampled Japanese cuisine at sushi restaurant Raw on 5.

Agents included Carmel Troy and Tracey Cowhey from TUI, Jaclyn Wilson from Just Travel Group, Jo McPherson from Hays Travel, Lyn Cooper from Prestige Travel, Carly Cockburn from Blue Bay Travel, Kenton Cockburn from Travel Bag and Caroline Dillon and Fiona Ollerhead from Inteletravel.

The attendees were picked after their captions for a selection of images shared by Celebrity on its Celebrity Loves Agents Facebook page were chosen as the winning submissions by the line.

As the first Edge-series ship to be based from the UK, Apex has seen strong demand throughout the summer with sell-out itineraries such as the new for 2024 12-night Norwegian Fjord and Arctic Circle cruise.

During the Caribbean 2024/25 season, Apex will offer more opportunities for guests to sail from South Florida and visit its private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Sailing throughout the winter, Apex will complete a series of six to seven-night itineraries to destinations such as Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Labadee, Haiti; Key West, Bimini, Bahamas; and St. Kitts, Tortola.

Celebrity Apex to return to Southampton in 2025

Five new sailings are also on offer, visiting destinations like St. Maarten, San Juan, Grand Cayman, and Mexico, as well as select sailings to Perfect Day at CocoCay.

In 2025, Apex will return to Southampton for its second season, with more Arctic Circle and Norwegian Fjords itineraries including stops in Celebrity’s newly added port, Trondheim in Norway.
