Celebrity Cruises has updated its agent training portal as it prepares to welcome its Galapagos-inspired ship to the fleet.

The 100-passenger Celebrity Flora launches on Sunday 23 June 2019, before sailing its maiden seven-night Galapagos Inner Loop itinerary from Baltra on 30 June.

Agents will be able to take advantage of a new Celebrity Flora module on Celebrity Passport, the line’s e-learning section on CelebrityCentral.co.uk.

The programme will feature bitesize training modules focusing on the ship’s features along with video footage and images, to help agents sell to clients.

Celebrity’s head of sales UK and Ireland Nicola McNeish said: “We’ve already had fantastic interest in Celebrity Flora from many of our trade partners, who are understandably excited about its innovative features.

“Our customers share our passion for environmental stewardship and, as one of the most eco-friendly ships of its size in the Galapagos Islands, we are so proud of Celebrity Flora and our relationship with godmother and prominent environmental leader, Yolanda Kakabadse.

“As a business we are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. The ship’s launch comes hot on the heels of Celebrity Edge’s arrival in Southampton last month and is yet another example of how we are transforming luxury holidays.”

Celebrity Flora uses anchorless technology to protect the ocean floor and features all-suite accommodation, on-board naturalists and an outward-facing design.
