Carnival Cruise Line has partnered with USAirtours in a bid to enhance its trade-only booking office
As the official booking platform for Carnival packages, “Crew” was established in 2022 and offers agents the ability to sell ATOL-bonded packages at trade-specific rates.
The USAirtours partnership, which started this month, will give agents access to a wider array of package options. Flights, pre- and post- cruise accommodations, transfers and attraction tickets will all be available.
Luke Smith, director UK and international sales at Carnival Cruise Line, said: “We are committed to delivering extraordinary experiences to our guests and agents.
“By joining forces with USAirtours, we are enhancing the capabilities of Crew, ensuring that agents have the tools and resources they need to create amazing cruise holidays for their customers.”
He continued: “Our previous partnership with Aviate has been instrumental in laying the foundations for this progression, and we would like to thank them for their hard work and support over the last two years.”
Carnival partnership to help create ‘unique itineraries’
Jessie Manzi, head of sales at USAirtours, added: “We are thrilled to partner with Carnival Cruise Line to enhance the Crew booking experience.
“Combining our 40 years of expertise in long-haul, tour operations with all 27 of Carnival’s fantastic ships, we can create unique itineraries which include exciting stopover cities on route to embarkation, and multi-centre post-cruise experiences.”
The new partnership comes after Carnival Corporation signed an agreement with German shipbuilder Meyer Werft to build its fourth Excel class ship for CCL.
