Cunard has appointed Gareth Reast as regional sales manager for the south
Reast has more than 15 years' sales experience at Carnival UK having joined the company in 2009 as a personal cruise expert in the contact centre.
In 2021, he became a partnerships executive and worked closely with agents across the UK.
In his new role, Reast has been tasked with providing training, sales support and business planning to help agents grow their cruise sales. He will also focus on developing relationships with new agents looking to expand their cruise offering.
Reast's appointment comes just days after Cunard announced its newest ship, Queen Anne, will be joining the P&O Cruises fleet in 2029.
"I'm delighted to take on this role after spending the past five years working closely with travel agents," said Reast.
"I've seen first hand the vital role agents play in helping guests discover Cunard and I'm looking forward to supporting both existing and new partners across the south, helping them grow their business through training, business planning and regular support."
Iain Baillie, assistant vice president EMEA sales, said: "Gareth's appointment reflects both his passion for supporting travel agents and the strength of talent within Cunard.
"Over the past five years, he has built excellent relationships across the trade and earned a reputation as a trusted and valued partner to many agents. His experience, energy and understanding of the market make him ideally placed to support agents across the south, helping them inspire their customers and grow their Cunard business."
