Azamara offers cruise for two in Wave incentive programme

Azamara is giving travel agents the chance to secure a holiday for two with the return of its Win a Cruise trade incentive programme

The initiative comes after last year’s iteration of the competition became Azamara’s highest-performing trade incentive of 2025. This year’s scheme features four categories to ensure all agents have the opportunity to win, including homeworkers, retail agents, cruise specialists and tour operators.

Every booking made during the Wave period counts as an entry, meaning the more bookings agents secure, the greater their chances of winning. The line is also offering double booking commissions throughout January.

Stuart Pearce, director of sales for UK & Ireland at Azamara Cruises, said: “Recognising the exceptional effort agents make during the industry’s busiest booking period, Azamara is doubling its standard booking incentive throughout January.

“Agents will earn £20 per booking, which is double the £10 incentive offered throughout the rest of the year, providing immediate financial rewards alongside competition entries. The Wave period is crucial for both our trade partners and our business, and we wanted to create an incentive programme that truly recognises the hard work agents put in during this busy time.”

He continued: “Last year’s competition generated incredible engagement and became our top-performing incentive of the year. By bringing it back alongside our doubled booking rewards, we’re showing our commitment to the trade partners who are so vital to our success. We want agents to benefit financially from every booking while also having the chance to experience our destination-immersive itineraries for themselves.

“The combination of immediate financial rewards, multiple opportunities to win, and a strong consumer offer positions Azamara’s trade partners for success during the critical Wave booking window.”

The incentive is the latest in a string of activations aimed at bringing Azamara closer to the trade. Last year, the line gave travel agents a 10-day head start to market its 2028 World Cruise following a meeting of its Partner Advisory Board in September.
