Azamara gives UK trade early access to 2028 World Cruise
Azamara Cruises is giving UK travel agents a 10-day head start to market its 2028 World Cruise
The new initiative will see the trade have the opportunity to secure sales before the cruise line’s own global launch.
The move, which is the first major outcome of Azamara’s newly formed Partner Advisory Board, means UK agents can begin promoting the 175-night voyage to clients from Monday (24 November), 10 days ahead of the worldwide announcement on 4 December 2025.
“We’re thrilled to deliver this game-changing benefit to our UK trade partners,” said David Siewers, the line’s chief sales officer international.
“By giving UK agents the opportunity to market our 2028 World Cruise before we do ourselves, we’re handing them a genuine competitive edge to secure bookings. This is about backing the expertise and relationships our partners have with their customers.”
The initiative stems from the launch meeting of Azamara’s Partner Advisory Board in September, where the panel, comprising of the line’s “most highly valued” UK trade partners, identified early access to major itineraries as a highly sought-after sales tool.
Departing Miami on 5 January 2028 aboard Azamara Onward, the 175-night cruise will span six continents, 40 countries and 91 ports. The full World Cruise 2028 programme is yet to be launched.
Stuart Pearce, UK and Ireland director of sales, added: “This marks the first major initiative to emerge from our Partner Advisory Board, demonstrating our commitment to not just listening to our partners, but acting on their feedback.
“Pre-marketing our most exclusive itineraries gives agents a powerful tool to deliver exceptional value to their customers while driving their own business forward.”
