Ambassador Cruise Line has appointed Laura Holmes as its new business development executive for the south midlands
Reporting into Louise Tansey, Ambassador’s divisional sales manager – south, Holmes will have responsibility for fostering existing commercial relationships in her area to maximise sales opportunities and drive day-to-day trading while instigating new partnerships.
She joins the line from Mid-Counties Co-operative Travel, where she worked her way up from travel advisor to branch manager. Prior to Mid-Counties, Holmes was a travel advisor for TUI retail.
Karen Cameron, interim head of trade at Ambassador Cruise Line, said: “I am delighted to welcome Laura to the Ambassador family, which will only benefit our trade partners in the south midlands as we look to continue providing them with all the support and tools they need.
“The addition of someone of Laura’s experience illustrates just how highly we value our agent partners, who can rest assured that Ambassador will be with them every step of the way as we look to continue serving both the business and our partners in the most effective and productive way possible.”
The appointment comes following the merger of Ambassador and French operator Compagnie Française de Croisières, marking the creation of the Ambassador Group.
Following the move, Ambassador will offer 10 Caribbean fly-cruise sailings this winter on board Renaissance, homeporting in Bridgetown, Barbados, from October 2025 through March 2026.
Details of the new winter season on board Renaissance are now available on ambassadorcruiseline.com and in a 24-page digital brochure. Prices on these itineraries start from £1,819pp including flights, transfers, bonded luggage and full board accommodation.
