AmaWaterways’ 2019 Europe, Asia and Africa brochure includes three new ships, cruise and rail travel options, two new itineraries and an expanded wellness offering.

The company has three ships launching in 2019.

AmaMora – a sister ship to AmaLea and  AmaKristina – will offer a choice of itineraries on the Rhine, while the smaller AmaDouro makes her debut on Portugal and Spain’s Douro River. In addition, AmaMagna will enter service in May 2019.

Fares for AmaMagna start from £2,381 per person for the Romantic Danube cruise from Vilshofen to Budapest on 17 November 2019.

Guests booking one of AmaWaterways’ three French itineraries and a further seven voyages on the Rhine and Moselle, will now be able to book train travel from London to their chosen departure port. Return train travel and private transfers to the ship will cost £129 per person for those booking by 30 September 2018.

AmaWaterways has also added two itineraries – the Christmas Markets on the Danube trip on AmaMagna and AmaLea, and Flavours of Portugal & Spain on AmaVida.

In addition, the company has confirmed that from summer 2019 it will offer its wellness programme across the European fleet, with the exception of the AmaDouro.

Guests booking by 30 September 2018 can add return flights from the UK mainland to Europe for £99 per person, with overseas transfers to and from the ship available for an additional £30 return. The offer is available for all 2019 European departures and no regional supplements are payable.

Fares for the 2019 programme start from £2,029 per person (cruise only) for the Tulip Time itinerary on AmaStella, departing on 24 March 2019.
