An agent has secured a £100,000 booking on a National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions sailing

Charlie Mason, polar specialist at Polar Routes, sold a 25-day Patagonia, Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica Odyssey sailing on National Geographic Resolution departing in February 2028.

His booking has contributed to National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions’ strong start to the year, with the line reporting it has achieved 63 per cent of its total 2025 sales in the first two months of this year alone.

The line praised agents for their performance, saying bookings through the trade have doubled compared to the same period last year, totalling 40 per cent of UK sales.

Top-selling destinations were Antarctica, the Galapagos, Alaska and Canada.

The line said the strong results follows the expansion of the UK sales team, enhanced agent engagement and training.

Danielle Bates, UK head of sales, said: “We are absolutely thrilled with the momentum we’re seeing from the UK trade community.

“Doubling our trade bookings year-on-year and reaching 63 per cent of last year’s total sales in just two months is a phenomenal achievement.

“The investment in our UK team and our commitment to meaningful agent partnerships is clearly paying off. Trade is a huge focus for us and we’re incredibly excited about the energy and enthusiasm around our brand.”

She added: “There is so much more to come in 2026 and beyond.”
