AE Expeditions has demonstrated its intention to grow its presence in the UK and EMEA by promoting Andy Tait and Katie Harber
Tait’s title will change to senior business development manager EMEA, which will see him focus on growing the Europe, Africa and the Middle East regions. It follows on from Harber’s recent promotion to senior business development manager, UK & Ireland.
The promotions come after the small-ship expedition operator experienced 53% growth out of the UK and Ireland markets last year.
UK team ‘instrumental’ to AE Expeditions’ success
“Our UK-based team has been an instrumental part of our success in the market by actively nurturing partnerships and building new relationships with the trade to increase AE Expeditions’ sales distribution,” said David Tanguay, head of global sales.
“We look forward to continuing to support our UK and Ireland trade partners in 2024, with some exciting announcements in the pipeline.”
The line has recently seen an increase in demand for immersive, nature-focused travel. “We are confident in our team’s abilities to continue to broaden the company’s horizons, increase our market share and the trade industry’s awareness of the life changing experiences we offer,” added Tanguay.
Last year the line released its inaugural impact report showcasing its “efforts to embed sustainable practices across all areas of the business”.
