A-Rosa appoints Emma Rodgers as sales manager for the north

A-Rosa River Cruises has appointed former Classic Collection regional sales manager Emma Rodgers as its new regional sales manager for the north.

She brings with her a number of years of experience in the travel industry, having begun her career as store manager for Kuoni before moving into account management for both KLM and Riviera Travel.

More recently, she was retail and training manager for homeworking agency Personal Holiday Advisors in Leeds and she joins from her current role with Classic Collection.

Rodgers will be tasked with continuing to grow A-Rosa’s brand and sales amongst the trade in the north of England, Scotland and Ireland, providing both on-the-road and virtual support to agents.

She will also be responsible for implementing sales strategies, developing marketing campaigns and providing product training.

A-Rosa managing director Lucia Rowe said: “We are really excited to welcome Emma into our small, but mighty team. Having worked both on the agent and operator side, she brings with her a real understanding of how to get the very best results from everyone involved in the sales process.”

Rodgers, who will take up her new role on 2 January 2024, added: “I am absolutely thrilled to be back in river cruise, a sector that I am truly passionate about. I’m really looking forward to working closely with all of A-Rosa’s trade partners to help further grow this fantastic brand that has so much to shout about.”
