Windstar Cruises has announced details of its largest-ever ship visit programme in the UK with up to 450 places available for trade partners across 11 different ports of call
The 2024 ship visit programme will take place in June, July and August with agents spending time on two of Windstar’s Star class yachts, Star Legend and Star Pride, with a tour and a short Windstar update.
Star Legend will welcome agents in Glasgow on 8 June, in Cork on 11 June, in Milford Haven on 12 June and in Portsmouth on 14 June, before two events in London on 15 and 16 June.
The vessel will then reposition to Holyhead for visits on 22 June, in Belfast on 23 June, in Douglas on 4 July, in Dublin on 5 July, in Invergordon on 11 July, in Edinburgh on 12 July before finishing in Dublin on 30 August.
Star Pride, meanwhile, will hosts delegates on 3 June in Dublin from 10.30am and in Edinburgh on 10 June, also from 10.30am.
New Windstar Cruises visit programme comes after ‘successful’ 2023
Augustus Lonsdale, Windstar’s head of sales UK & Ireland, said the new programme comes on the heels of the success of last year’s ship visit programme, when the line welcomed over more than agents onboard.
“I’m delighted that so many UK agents will have the chance to come onboard Star Legend and Star Pride this year,” he added. “Windstar Cruises is fully committed to the UK, especially after a record start to the year, and we are continuing to increase sales and visibility within this important market.”
Earlier this month, Windstar Cruises announced the expansion of its fleet with the addition of two all-suite motor yachts, Star Seeker and Star Explorer.
