Virgin Voyages has unveiled a new resort in the Bahamas that will feature on all Scarlet Lady voyages, as the line officially opens bookings for its first cruise ship.
The Beach Club at Bimini is described as a “stylish setting with white-sand and crystal clear waters”, where guests will experience activities that “rival the best beach clubs in Ibiza and Saint-Tropez”.
What’s more, DJ Mark Ronson will play at the site.

Those staying in the RockStar suites on Scarlet Lady will have use of a dedicated bar, complimentary food service, an outdoor terrace lounge, sun loungers and beach cabanas.
The Beach Club will also use locally sourced ingredients to serve up island favourites such as conch and mango salad, banana leaf-wrapped queen snapper, Bahamian rum cake and more.
There will be spaces for passengers to socialise, while those wanting more privacy will be able to rent a poolside cabana.

Scarlet Lady is also now officially open for bookings for its inaugural season, which runs from 1 April through to 25 October 2020.
“At Virgin Voyages we are going beyond just great design, to defy and redefine luxury to be rebellious luxe,” said the line’s president and CEO Tom McAlpin.
“This new luxury is about knowing you are taken care of, that you’re never being nickel and dimed, and what you want, even some of the things you didn’t know you wanted, are already taken care of for you.”

Scarlet Lady will feature a “festival of choice” in entertainment, made up of experiences created exclusively for Virgin Voyages.
Virgin Voyages has also revealed that Sir Richard Branson will celebrate his birthday on a four-night Havana After Dark voyage, departing 15 July 2020.
Passengers can enter for a chance to win a cabin for two on the cruise by visiting richardsbirthday.virginvoyages.com. This opportunity expires on 31 March 2019.
