Virgin Voyages simplifies booking process with new pricing model

Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady

Virgin Voyages will look to simplify its booking process with a new fare structure, giving guests more flexibility over package options

Launching 7 October 2025, VoyageFair Choices will offer greater price transparency, comparative fares and more flexibility for different budgets.

“Travellers expect clarity and choice from airlines and hotels, and Virgin Voyages is the first to bring that same simplicity and pricing model to cruising,” said Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages.

“This isn’t about gimmicks or fine print. We’re making it easier to book a voyage with confidence while knowing that once you’re onboard, the experience is unmistakably Virgin: elevated and unforgettable.”

The new model introduces three pricing tiers for Sea Terrace and below cabins. The non-refundable Base fare introduces a new Basic WiFi tier for one device per passenger and dining reservations open 15 days before sailing.

The Essential fare includes Classic WiFi for one device per guest, as well as a 45-day dining reservation window and added flexibility to adjust voyage dates using a Future Voyage Credit.

The Premium fare offers Sea Terrace categories and below a 60-day dining reservation window, Premium WiFi for two devices per guest, an included Bar Tab and access to a priority support line for pre-voyage booking.

Virgin Voyages will now also display service gratuities as a separate line item at the time of booking. The total cost of a voyage does not change, and guests may pre-pay at a discounted rate of $20 per person per night or settle onboard at $22 per person per night.

Saverimuttu added: “VoyageFair Choices is about opening our doors even wider, giving more travellers the chance to experience the joy, connection and freedom of sailing with us. It’s a new way of putting people first and shaping the future of travel.”

The move comes following the launch of the brand’s fourth Lady ship, Brilliant Lady, which kicked off its inaugural season from New York earlier this month.
