Virgin Voyages has announced the launch of a new Voyage Store, a dedicated packaging platform for travel agents.
Announced on the debut of Scarlet Lady, it has partnered with Aviate to develop the store in an effort to increase the line’s reach within the UK.
Virgin Voyages’ associate VP of international sales Shane Riley said: “We are seeing incredible momentum with our First Mates and introducing packages will widen our appeal further, meaning more First Mates than ever before will have the chance to sell Virgin Voyages.
“We have already partnered with Virgin Atlantic Flightstore so this is the next logical step in continuing our mission to raise brand awareness and grow First Mate [travel agent] distribution and have some very exciting plans to further engage with the trade this year.”
By booking through Voyage Store, travel agents will earn on anything they sell at 10 per cent commission, without exception. In addition, they will also be eligible for the additional 3 per cent bonus commission on all 2020 sailings offered by Virgin Voyages.
To celebrate the launch of this partnership, Voyage Store will also be paying £50 per booking for any new bookings made before May 3, 2020. Voyage Store will also be paying £25 back on each new booking made throughout 2020 – as standard.
Aviate head of commercial Paul Johnson said: “We have extensive experience of working with the Virgin brand having successfully operated Virgin Atlantic Flightstore for five years. As a trade only business we are in the perfect position to connect UK agents with this ground-breaking new venture. We are incredibly excited to be part of the Virgin Voyages story.”
To register to sell Virgin Voyages packages via Voyage Store, travel agents should visit trade-VoyageStore.com or call 0151 350 1133. Voyage Store is now open for bookings.
