Viking unveils new 2027-28 world cruise itineraries
Viking has unveiled four new extended itineraries for the 2027-28 season, including a round-the-world journey spanning 142 days and 31 countries
Departing from Fort Lauderdale on 28 December 2027, Viking World Cruise, aboard Viking Vesta, will offer 62 guided tours and overnight stays in 16 iconic cities. The voyage circumnavigates the globe, taking passengers across six continents, with the final call in London on 18 May 2028.
Guests will also sail through the Panama Canal, explore North America’s West Coast, and venture further to Hawaii and Tahiti. The adventure continues to New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, and Africa, with plenty of wildlife safari excursions.
The journey comprises overnight stays in Sydney, Singapore, Zanzibar, Cape Town, Casablanca and many other locations, while those looking to extend the journey can do so by joining the 170-day Viking World Voyage III, which continues from London, exploring Northern Europe and Scandinavia before ending in Stockholm.
Torstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO of Viking said: “Our World Cruises are thoughtfully designed to offer the opportunity to experience dozens of fascinating destinations around the world in one seamless voyage.”
Viking will also offer a further two round-the-world voyages: the 153-day Viking World Voyage IV, sailing from Los Angeles to Stockholm with stops in 37 countries, and the 125-day Viking World Discoveries, again from Los Angeles, visiting 27 countries, and ending in London.
World Cruise clients also have optional overland excursions such as Uluru & Great Barrier Reef tour in Australia, India’s Golden Triangle with the Taj Mahal, and a five-day safari in South Africa’s Kruger National Park to see the Big Five.
