Grand Journeys that link two or more river cruises are among new features in Vantage Travel’s 2017 programme.
Vice-president global sales Derek Lloyd said next year’s sailings have been scheduled to allow passengers to combine trips as often as possible.
Options include a Best of France cruise that links the Seine and Rhône. A 24-day Holland to Hungary itinerary combines a cruise through Holland and Belgium with a voyage from Amsterdam to Budapest. From £4,924 per person departing May 30.
The company, which started selling in the UK this year, has also extended its Holland and Belgium sailings into summer. Traditionally these run in the spring tulip season only.
Lloyd said: “[These] sailings include historical elements of World War II, spectacular countryside and cities, the best of local food and the chance to see the windmills in the summer sunshine.”
The 2017 programme also features eight new family cruises with free berths for children and special tours and activities to appeal to kids.
Most sailings have an allocation of single cabins with prices from £1,099. Lloyd said: “Single cabins sell out first so we encourage solo guests to plan ahead.”
