Titan launches 2017 ‘World’s Best River Cruise’ brochure with Uniworld

Titan in partnership with Uniworld has launched 2017 ‘World’s Best River Cruise’ brochure.

Featured rivers include the Seine, where Uniworld’s new super-ship, the S.S. Joie de Vivre, will launch in March 2017 to sail the 8-day Paris and Normandy itinerary.

Travelling from Paris to the French coast at Caudebec it takes in the fishing villages of Normandy and Monet’s famous garden at Giverny.

The S.S. Joie de Vivre will reflect the French ‘joy of living’ philosophy and everything from the ship’s décor to the farm-to-table cuisine and onboard local wines will be designed to give guests the  experience of French luxury.

With weekly departures from April to November 2017, prices start from £2,199 per person (November 5 2017 departure) including a saving of £400 per person if booked by October 31 2016. The cost includes flights, 7 nights’ all-inclusive cruise on the S.S. Joie de Vivre, excursions, transfers and the VIP Home Departure Service.

Uniworld is also expanding its focus on France in 2017 with a new 10-day ‘Paris and Impressions of the Seine’ itinerary, taking in French culture and culminating in a two-night stay in Paris.

This trip sails through the French countryside to visit the village where Vincent Van Gogh spent his final months; views over Honfleur that Eugene Boudin immortalised and Monet’s gardens in Giverny. There are departures throughout 2017 from March to November, prices start from £2,599 per person (November 8 2017 departure) including a saving of £400 per person if booked by October 31 2016. The cost includes flights, 9-nights’ all-inclusive cruise on the River Baroness, excursions, transfers and the VIP Home Departure Service.

Also new is the 10-day ‘Rhine-Main Discovery and Munich’ itinerary, which goes to southern Germany along the rivers Rhine and Main, visiting cities of the country’s culture and heritage. Two nights in the old Bavarian capital of Munich sets the tone for an itinerary that reveals beautiful imperial palaces, gardens and crooked half-timbered homes, all the way to Cologne.

Prices start from £2,299 per person based on November 3 2017 departure (saving up to £400 per person if booked before October 31 2016) including scheduled direct flights, 2 nights in a Munich hotel on a B&B basis, 7 nights’ all-inclusive cruise on the River Ambassador, 8 excursions and visits, Captain’s Welcome and Farewell receptions and Gala Dinners and Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service.

The brochure also highlights the all-suite Mekong Navigator on the 17-day cruise and tour to explore the ’Timeless Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia and the Mekong’.

The 34 all-suite vessel, which was launched in 2014 is reminiscent in design of the French colonial-era manor houses that once lined the streets of Old Saigon and lends a sophisticated yet comfortable ambience. Travelling September to March from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi it costs from £4,799 per person (saving £500 per person if booked by 31 October 2016).

In total 25 itineraries are showcased, guests can sail the waterways of Europe, Russia, Vietnam and India aboard Uniworld’s fleet of  appointed floating boutique-style hotels. With an average capacity of 130 guests, the 5-star vessels are designed by Red Carnation Hotels and include original works of art, antiques and elegant furnishings.

Most itineraries have savings of between £300 and £400 per person if booked before October 31 this year, however, £500 per person is available off the 14-day ‘India’s Golden Triangle and the Sacred Ganges’ cruise.

Launched earlier this year, the luxurious all-suite 56-passenger Ganges Voyager II has proved to be popular  with new dates for 2017 in the brochure. Beginning in Delhi and exploring iconic sights such as the Taj Mahal, Agra and Jaipur before embarking on a 7-night full-board Ganges cruise prices start from £5,999 per person (January 11 2017) including scheduled flights, 2 nights in a New Delhi hotel, 1 night in an Agra hotel, 2 nights in a Jaipur hotel, a 7-night full-board cruise, entertainment, shore excursions, all transfers and Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service.
