Swan Hellenic opens bookings for 2024/25 Antarctica voyages

Swan Hellenic Antarctica season

Swan Hellenic has opened bookings for its Antarctica 2024-2025 season of expedition voyages on its ice-class ships, Diana and Vega.

Departures commence on 13 November 2024 with a 20-night cruise on Diana from Cape Town to Ushuaia, exploring Tristan Da Cunha, South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula.

Diana’s season ends with a 21-night semi-circumnavigation at the end of February 2025.

Meanwhile, Vega will start its season with a 17-night cruise down the east coast of Argentina from Buenos Aires, then out to the Falklands, South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula, before crossing the Drake Passage to Ushuaia.

It will follow this with a choice of nine, 10, 11, 12 and 13-night cruises from Ushuaia.

Swan Hellenic offering ‘unique’ experiences

Every cruise will offer multiple zodiac expeditions, often more than one a day.

In addition, all expeditions will led by seasoned guides and international experts, who “provide a rich on-board lecture programme”, according to a statement.

Swan Hellenic CEO Andrea Zito said: “We’re very proud of the depth and breadth of choice offered by our expertly designed 2024-2025 Antarctica season cruises.

“What’s more – as always with Swan Hellenic – they offer the possibility of daisy-chaining to create unique, life-changing experiences of one of the world’s last remaining true wildernesses and beyond.”
