A spot of pampering is the perfect way to while away time at sea – we’ve rounded up some of our favourite on board spas.

Floating Resort by Scubaspa – The Spa

With the largest on board spa in the Maldives at 300sq m, the two upper decks are dedicated to the Asian inspired spa. The Spa Package includes eight spa treatments from a selection of 15 options.

Norwegian Cruise Line – Mandara Spa

A world of wellness awaits when visiting Mandara Spa, with its exotic Balinese-inspired treatments. Mandara Spa is available on the entire fleet.

Cruising the Caribbean on board Escape, you wouldn’t expect to see snow – but the spa’s Snow Room changes all that!

What’s on offer?
Speciality treatments include a seaweed massage incorporating a heated seaweed mask with essential oils that is applied all over the body. Meanwhile, the Salt Room helps to strengthen the immune system (available on Breakaway, Getaway and Escape).

Carnival Cruise Line – Cloud 9 Spa

Stressed out travellers will feel totally blissed out after sampling the treatments in this aptly named 20,000sq ft luxury spa.

Cloud 9 is quite simply a shrine to relaxation.

What’s on offer?
A Bamboo Massage will tantalise the senses, as warm bamboo shoots soaked in essential oil massage the muscles. The Thermal Suite has wet and dry heat chambers including a hammam, to cleanse, tone and purify the body.

Cunard – Canyon Ranch SpaClub

Being such an iconic ship, it’s no surprise that the QM2 boasts one of the largest spas afloat, the two-deck Canyon Ranch SpaClub.

The spa was voted ‘Best Cruise Ship Spa 2017’ in the Berlitz Guide to Cruising and Cruise Ships.

What’s on offer?
A signature Canyon Ranch massage, acupuncture, chirorpractic treatments and thermal therapies are available to men, women and couples. There’s also a Thermal Suite and Aqua Therapy Centre with features including a steam room, saunas, ice fountain, sensory showers and pool.

Silversea Cruises – The Spa at Silversea

Spas on Siversea’s all-inclusive ships offer a journey of wellness. The calming nature of the spa is reflected in its stylish contemporary décor and the use of earthy tones throughout.
