Silversea Cruises has unveiled its 2024/2025 voyage collection, consisting of 341 sailings.
The programme will visit a total of 695 destinations in 120 countries, between March 2024 and May 2025. The offering is the largest in the cruise line’s history, in part thanks to a 56 per cent increase in capacity by 2024 when compared to 2020.
A total of 11 ships will embark on the new sailings, with additional voyages aboard Silver Endeavour to be announced soon.
The 2024/2025 collection also includes the inaugural season of Silver Ray, which will launch in 2024 as the line’s second Nova-class ship, following on from Silver Nova.
The ship’s inaugural season will take place in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, with a series of summer and autumn voyages ranging from seven to 12 days.
Six ships will explore more than 60 destinations in 23 countries in Africa and the Indian Ocean, with expedition options aboard Silver Cloud, Silver Wind, Silver Dawn, Silver Muse, Silver Whisper, and Silver Spirit.
Elsewhere, there will be 13 voyages to 59 destinations in the South Pacific Islands, 31 cruises to 19 countries in Northern Europe, and 67 itineraries across five ships in the Mediterranean during an extended season.
Silver Muse and Silver Nova will offer cruises in Alaska focused on the region’s landscape and wildlife, while there will also be summer voyages in Canada and New England.
The Arctic, Greenland, Antarctica, and departures in Australia and New Zealand will be available.
Expanding Silversea’s global reach
Silversea Cruises president and CEO Roberto Martinoli said: “Our new voyage collection for summer 2024 and winter 2024/2025 reflects our guests’ desire for new and unique experiences in the most iconic and remote destinations around the world.
“Not only will these 341 new sailings immerse travellers deep into each destination, enabling even the most experienced travellers to discover lesser-visited destinations or venture off-season to rediscover the world from a new perspective, but they will also further expand Silversea’s global reach.”
The line’s SVP of expeditions, destination and itinerary management Conrad Combrink added: “Silversea has increased its industry-leading range of experiences with the launch of its largest itinerary collection to date for 2024/2025.
“With 341 itineraries unlocking both Polar Regions, the South Pacific, Africa and the Indian Ocean, the Galapagos, and so much more, Silversea has once again demonstrated its destination leadership, immersing curious travellers into the world in a way that only we can.”
