Ship of the Month: Celebrity Xcel
As the fifth ship in Celebrity Cruises’ groundbreaking Edge series, Celebrity Xcel made its debut in November 2025
The ship introduced seven new spaces, as well as returning favourites like the Magic Carpet (a cantilevered venue that moves between decks), the Resort Deck and the Retreat, the line’s suite-only experience with private dining, a sundeck and lounge.
The vessel sailed a four-night preview cruise from Fort Lauderdale on 9 November before departing on its maiden voyage on 18 November on a five-night Bahamas and Mexico itinerary, calling at Bimini Bahamas and Cozumel.
