Royal Caribbean hosts ‘biggest-ever’ travel agent Seminar at Sea

Royal Caribbean Seminar at Sea Allure of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International has welcomed more than 360 travel agents on its biggest-ever Seminar at Sea

The event took place on Allure of the Seas, which recently underwent a $100 million refurbishment programme ahead of its European season sailing the western Mediterranean from Barcelona to Rome.

The Seminar at Sea, which ran from 20-24 April, included 130 agents from the UK and Ireland who joined training programmes and experienced what Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class has to offer.

The four-night seminar involved customised training sessions in German, Norwegian, Spanish and English, as well as insight from vice president EMEA, Gerard Nolan and the ship’s hotel director.

Attendees also had free time to explore the destinations of Palma De Mallorca and La Spezia, enjoy a private cocktail party in the ship’s Solarium and experience the 35 ways to drink and dine onboard.

Nolan said: “The power of connection should not be underestimated; our 2025 Semina at Sea has had some overwhelming feedback and will help our agent partners sell our holidays and maximise their partnerships with Royal Caribbean for years to come.”

He continued: “I’ve personally appreciated spending quality time with our agents and exploring their feedback and experiences first-hand.”

Aaron Langford, senior sales director, UK & Ireland added: “This best-in-class experience offered a great balance between free time, on both Allure and in destination, and curated training to boost product knowledge, equip attendees with beneficial sales tools and provide an understanding of the quality and value proposition of a Royal Caribbean holiday.”

It comes after parent company Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) reported “better than expected” Q1 results thanks to strong pricing on close-in demand and lower operational costs.
