Images released by the cruise line highlight the polar expedition cruise ship’s spacious suites and public spaces including main restaurant, panorama lounge, lecture theatre, polar boutique, spa and wellness centre.
In keeping with the brand’s portfolio, Quark Expeditions’s new ship Ultramarine promises to provide passengers with incredible off-ship expedition cruise and adventure itineraries, encompassing activities such as flightseeing and heli-skiing, among other experiences.
As well as this, the renderings reveal how Quark is also going above and beyond to provide passengers with the best on board experience, with 102 suites across nine categories, including six solo suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and the largest entry-level twin suites of its class.
Each suite has been designed to provide guests with have unparalleled views of the polar landscape outside and will include spacious entryways, spa-inspired bathrooms with heated floors throughout, and premium sleep zones.

This relaxed gathering spot features unobstructed panoramic views and an outdoor, forward-facing Observation Deck.
Lecture Theatre
Passengers will get to hear from world-class experts about the adventures enjoyed and the wonders to come, featuring a high-resolution LED screen, real-time translations, as well live broadcasting for those who prefer to listen from the ease of their suite.
Wellness Centre
This modern space is where your clients can go to relax and unwind, featuring a spa with a wide range of treatments, a sauna featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, and a fully equipped fitness room with separate yoga space.
Polar Boutique
The store will be stocked with the industry’s top cold-weather expedition gear and a carefully curated selection of polar keepsakes.
Ready Rooms
Designed for efficiency and situated next to the Zodiac hangar, Ultramarine’s two ready rooms include an individual locker for each guest to safely store and dry personal items and expedition gear between outings.
