Princess Cruises is offering free stateroom upgrades on more than 1,000 voyages setting sail in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The offer runs until 31 October.

Guests booking an ocean view stateroom can get a free upgrade to a balcony. Those on the five new ships – the Royal, Regal, Majestic, Sky (launching this month) and Enchanted Princess (which launches in Southampton in June 2020) – will be upgraded from balcony to mini-suite.

On select British Isles cruises in 2020 on Regal Princess guests can upgrade to a balcony from an inside stateroom.

In other news, Princess Cruises has announced the name of its newest ship, Discovery Princess.  The 3,660-guest ship is scheduled to launch on 3 November 2021, sailing a series of European voyages. The ship’s maiden season is available to book now.
