Princess Cruises has appointed Yasmin Mckechnie as its new UK & Europe sales director, effective from 1 December 2025
She succeeds Hayley Moore and will report directly to Eithne Williamson, vice president Princess Cruises UK & Europe.
Mckechnie joined Princess in April 2024 as senior sales manager, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the UK sales team’s strategic plans.
Her career spans more than 14 years in the travel industry, including eight years at P&O Cruises, where she held positions such as strategic business manager and e-commerce manager, and six years at Virgin Holidays.
“Continuing my journey with Princess Cruises is exciting, and I look forward to leading our talented sales team across UK, Ireland and Europe as we work with our agent partners to showcase our incredible cruise brand across multiple markets,” Mckechnie said. “We will continue to work in partnership to discover new ways for mutual growth.”

Williamson added: “Yasmin has been an integral member of the Princess team since joining us in 2024, consistently demonstrating strong commercial acumen and a clear vision for strengthening our brand in the UK.
“We are delighted that she will now take the helm of our award-winning sales team, bringing her strategic expertise and enthusiasm to continue to elevate our trade engagement and deepen relationships with our valued partners across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.”
Princess is now commencing the process to fill Mckechnie’s current role as senior sales manager.
The promotion comes after the line appointed Mike Pack as its new national training and engagement manager, a newly created position introduced to boost the line’s trade support strategy across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
With more than 15 years of experience in the global cruise industry, including leadership roles at Carnival Cruise Line, Pack brings experience in training, engagement and brand representation.
