Princess Cruises has unveiled its 2021 and 2022 Australia and New Zealand cruise itineraries.

One of its largest deployments ever offered, Princess will have five ships sailing to 82 destinations in 19 countries – offering 59 different itineraries.

Royal Princess, Emerald Princess, Sapphire Princess, Coral Princess, and Pacific Princess will all cruise in the region from homeports of Sydney Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Auckland, operating sailings from two to 36 days.

On sale from 16 September 2020, itineraries include sailings to the South Pacific islands, such as Fiji, Papa New Guinea, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.

The season will run from October 2021 through to April 2022.

The news comes as Princess Cruises also unveiled its new world cruise aboard Coral Princess, which will run out of Australasia.

Setting sail in 2022, it will be the line’s 15th annual Australasia-based world cruise and will sail from three homeports, including Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland.

The voyage will sail a 107-day circumnavigation of the globe and visit 43 destinations, 27 countries and six continents.

Destinations in the Mediterranean, Norway, Iceland, Arctic Circle, a transit of the Panama Canal and access to more than 20 UNESCO World Heritage sites will be included as part of the 34,000 nautical-mile journey.

Maiden calls have been scheduled for Falmouth in Cornwall, Sibenik in Croatia, Olden in Norway and Isafjordur.

It will be the first world cruise for Coral Princess, Princess Cruises 2,000-passenger Coral-class vessel. She will set sail from Sydney on 18 May 2022.

Tickets will be on sale from 15 September, with the cruise departing from Auckland on 14 May 2022, Sydney on 18 May 2022 and Brisbane on 20 May 2022.

Passengers will be able to book sailings ranging from 19 days all the way up to the full 107-day cruise.

As part of Princess’ world cruise early booking benefit, past guests are eligible for onboard credit and discount off launch fares when they book by 30 April 2021.

This discount can be combined with launch and group promotions, but does do not apply to third or fourth berth guests.
