A new cruise pier has opened in the Port of Pireaus.

Pier Saint Nikolaos is 284 metres long and provides an extra cruise berth so the port can now accommodate up to 10 ships.

Pireaus is the gateway to Athens for cruise passengers and the project was completed by TEKAL S.A. in cooperation with Naftiliaki Technodomiki.

Pier Saint Nikolas was inaugurated in the presence of Elena Kountoura, Alternate Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism and Captain Xu Lirong, Chairman of China COSCO Shipping Corporation.
