Staterooms designed with groups and multi-generational families in mind have been introduced on AmaWaterways’ new 158-passenger ship AmaStella.

The vessel features:

• 12 staterooms which can accommodate up to three family members each
• Six sets of adjoining cabins which can be connected via an internal doorway, accommodating families of up to five
• Four suites with convertible sofa-beds to accommodate families of up to four

“This is a very special time for AmaWaterways, as we welcome our newest ship, AmaStella, and prepare to unveil her sister ship, AmaViola, this spring,” said Kristin Karst, Executive Vice President and Co-owner of AmaWaterways.

In addition to the new room configurations, AmaWaterways has incorporated another design element with AmaStella and AmaViola – more of its signature twin-balcony (French and outside balconies) staterooms, meaning more opportunities for guests to enjoy panoramic views.

AmaWaterways has also increased the size of the fitness room, salon and massage area, and moved them to the lower deck.

The ‘destination-inspired décor’ complements its layout and amenities, include The Chef’s Table specialty restaurant, a r sun deck and heated pool with a swim-up bar.

Staterooms are also equipped with an Entertainment on Demand system, which gives travellers complimentary internet access, the latest movies, a music library and more.

Complimentary unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks are available with lunch and dinner; and complimentary bottled water is provided daily in all staterooms.

AmaStella’s maiden voyage set sail from Amsterdam to Budapest; the the ship will embark upon several popular itineraries, including Tulip Time, The Romantic Danube, Melodies of the Danube and Christmas Markets on the Danube.
