National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions is continuing to expand its UK sales team with the appointment of Brooke Dunn to the newly-created position of sales support executive
This appointment comes six weeks after Karen Hollands was named expedition sales and concierge specialist for the brand.
Dunn, who joined on 1 January 2026, has spent the last four years working with Fred. Holidays as relationship executive for the company’s river cruise brands.
Prior to that, she spent five years with Star Clippers as reservations manager and a sales consultant, and also held positions with AmaWaterways and Fred. River Cruises.
In her new role, Dunn will be responsible for providing general trade support including packaging up expeditions with flights and land extensions, organising fam trips, providing trade content, managing brochure requests and assisting with the organisation of trade shows and events.
She will also handle social media, creating “life and shift” style posts and offers for the trade. She will report into Danielle Bates, National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions’ head of UK sales.
Bates said: “I’m delighted to welcome Brooke to the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions team and am confident that her knowledge, skills and energy will help us to enhance service levels as we target major growth within the expedition cruise sector. Her appointments reflects both the momentum of the business as well as our commitment to supporting our trade partners.”
Meanwhile, Hollands is now the main point of contact for all trade partners, from first point of enquiry through to fulfilling quotations, converting sales and offering a dedicated after sales/concierge service. She also reports into Bates.
Hollands said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions who are true leaders in the world of expedition travel. I’m also delighted to be working alongside Danielle Bates to grow and strengthen the UK market, sharing the spirit of exploration with an even wider audience.”
