Harmony of the Seas unveils its entertainment line up

Royal Caribbean has unveiled the range of activities that will be available on the world’s biggest cruise ship, Harmony of the Seas, which launches in May.

“We are taking entertainment to the next level on Harmony of the Seas with more captivating, immersive entertainment experiences than ever before,” said Nick Weir, Vice President, Entertainment, Royal Caribbean International. “The level of innovation that has gone into our latest lineup is truly mind blowing, and Harmony guests can expect the unexpected with our biggest, most awe-inspiring stage yet.”

Royal Caribbean’s Biggest Ever Curtain Call
With state of the art technology that supersedes traditional threatres, 1,380 seats and two brand new headline shows, including Broadway musical Grease and an original Royal Caribbean production, Columbus, The Musical![1], the ‘Theatre Royal’ will be a popular first port of call for those aboard Harmony of the Seas.
Harmony of the Seas also launches its own AquaTheatre. Similar to those found aboard Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, passengers will be able to watch jaw-dropping acrobatic dives as performers jump from two 10-metre high platforms into the largest and deepest freshwater pool found at sea. The new AquaTheatre will offer two new shows, including The Fire Line, a 360 degree immersive entertainment stunt show and Hideaway Heist, an action packed and hilarious high-diving comedy show.
A Real Ice Breaker
An array of ice skating shows will also be available onboard Harmony of the Seas. Passengers will be able to see stunning performances from professional ice skaters in two new Studio B productions. The shows include 1887, another original Royal Caribbean production about love and adventure in Paris during the 19th century, and an all new iSkate Showcase, where the most talented skaters put their best blade forward in a dazzling showcase of their very best moves and favourite tunes.

The Ultimate Party at Sea
As well as new offerings, Harmony of the Seas also includes several new and improved fan favourites, including Puzzle Break: Escape the Rubicon – a puzzle adventure for the whole family that transports players to another world and another time where they must ESCAPE! Also making its return, Red Party offers the hottest high-energy party at sea, with veteran DJs, surprise performances and ground-breaking technology. And keeping everyone on their toes, the pop-up Stowaway Piano returns and could appear anywhere onboard the ship at a moment’s notice.
Finally, The Royal Promenade will return and continue the tradition of he cruise line’s signature theme nights and parades, with Totally Awesome 90s offering an evolution from the much loved Promenade 70s Party from previous ships. Harmony of the Seas also re-introduces party planning service, Let’s Celebrate – from birthdays to Bar Mitzvahs, anniversaries to engagements.

Karaoke classics at the On Air Club, revel in a symphony of brass brilliance with the High Cs Horns, Harmony’s very own horn-led nine piece orchestra, and take in live comedy and music at Harmony’s brand new nighttime hotspot, The Attic.
Harmony of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, will span 16 guest decks, encompass 227,000 gross registered tons, carry 5,497 guests at double occupancy, and feature 2,747 staterooms. The Oasis-class is an architectural marvel touting Royal Caribbean’s exclusive seven neighborhood concept, including Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, the Pool and Sports Zone, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone.
