Celestyal has welcomed 30 travel agents on a fam trip in the Arabian Gulf ahead of its new season in the region
The agents, including four from the UK, joined the line for the launch of its new-for-2025 Iconic Arabia itineraries and the debut of Celestyal Discovery in the region.
The five-day trip began with a two-night stay in Abu Dhabi at the Grand Hyatt, where the agents visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Natural History Museum, Ferrari World, teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
This was followed by a three-night cruise on the 1,360-guest Celestyal Discovery, which departed on 12 December and called at Dubai and Sir Bani Yas Island, with the latter featuring a ‘Get Closer to Nature’ shore excursion.
Jo Reid, European strategic partnerships lead for Celestyal, said: “Hosing 30 travel professionals for a pre-cruise stay and three-night voyage on Celestyal Discovery was the perfect opportunity to showcase the vibrant spirit of the Arabian Gulf, from the cultural treasures of Abu Dhabi to the serene shores of Sir Bani Yas Island.
“Supporting agent partners is fundamental to our overall vision and fam trips such as this ensure they can more confidently promote our Arabian Gulf itineraries to their clients.”
Celestyal Discovery’s 2025 Iconic Arabia itineraries sail roundtrip from Abu Dhabi. Ports include maiden visits to Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE, Doha in Qatar, Khasab in Oman, Dubai, and Sir Bani Yas Island.
The 2025/26 Arabian Gulf season marks a 211 per cent year-on-year capacity increase for Celestyal. The 1,260-guest Celestyal Journey operates the seven-night Desert Days itinerary.
