New cruise agency Fusion Cruises launches

New cruise agency Fusion Cruises has opened its doors for business today, promising “differentiated products, unique marketing channels and a closer-to-the-customer approach to service”. The new cruise tour operator venture is the brainchild of Si Morris-Green, formerly marketing director at The Travel Network Group, who has partnered with Harry Lightfoot and Steve Cheal, the current owners of Fusion Holidays.

Morris-Green, who left The Travel Network Group in February, has been running his consultancy business Evolve, which will continue to operate alongside Fusion Cruises.

Commenting on the new venture, Morris-Green said: “Fusion Cruises will focus on educating and engaging with customers, introducing channels not currently being used in the cruise market to reach out to all demographics.”

Lightfoot and Cheal noted: “We are looking forward to adding a new dynamic to our business and we feel that Si will complement our vision perfectly and add value to the new cruise proposition”.

“We will bring our business alive with TV, online, and consumer events and we will be hosting our first cruise show in January 2020,” added Morris-Green.

The business, located on the south coast, has also launched a website today at fusioncruises.co.uk.
