European Waterways has launched two whisky-themed departures on the eight-passenger hotel barge Scottish Highlander.

The cruise takes passengers along the Caledonian Canal and across Loch Ness, with included tours and tastings at three distilleries, as well as excursions to the battlefield at Culloden Moor and Eilean Donan Castle.

The cruises depart June 5 and October 2, with prices from £2,590 per person cruise-only.
