Emerald Waterways is reporting a surge in sales since the EU Referendum result with sales in excess of 30%.

In light of the diminishing value of the British Pound, the leading river cruise line has reported holiday makers are investing specifically in all-included river cruises that provide a transparent, fixed price that will not change despite fluctuations in the financial market.

Emerald Waterways has seen week-on-week sales up 32% after bookings on Monday, June 27 broke all company records.

Rivers such as the Rhône in the South of France and Douro in Portugal, have proven to be particularly popular. An example is the cruise line’s new for 2017, 8-day Sensations of Southern France itinerary (on the Rhône and Saone), which has seen sales up by a staggering 135%.
