Cruise Trade News October 2023

So, it’s fair to say we’ve been rather busy over the recent months/ Earlier this year, we set about devising a plan to take Cruise Trade News to the next level. A key part of this, we decided, was to refresh the content and design of the print magazine. And so, after many long nights and hard graft by several people, the copy you have in your hands represents a new era for us.

The crux of the relaunch includes new sections and features, all meticulously put together to bring you the information that is most relevant and topical. You’ll notice a fresh clean colour palette, as well as colour coding to improve the flow of the journey throughout the publication.

There’s more about river, luxury and expedition cruising, to take into account the growth in these areas, as well as a greater focus on in-depth analysis, giving us the scope to really get into the nitty gritty of the latest stories and trends. We’ve also decided to make training a prominent element of the relaunch, boost destination-related content and create a more seamless journey from print to digital via the use of QR codes.

We’re not stopping there, however. Later this year, the Cruise Stars Awards will return, showcasing our commitment to recognising and rewarding the immense talent that exists in the industry. We are also doubling down on our digital channels and video content, ensuring we have it all covered.

All in all, it’s an exciting time for us, as it is for the wider cruise sector. I do hope you enjoy the new look and content. If you have any comments of suggestions, please do get in touch.
