About Camargue

This Regional Nature Park, part of western Europe’s largest river delta, is famous for its semi-wild white horses; an ancient breed that has lived on the marshes and wetlands for centuries. They share the plain with pink flamingos and black bulls with distinctive upward pointing horns. This lush habitat is also used to cultivate Camargue’s unique red rice sold in local markets.
