Cunard smashes Black Friday bookings record

Cunard has reported its highest ever number of guest bookings over the Black Friday period.

The luxury cruise line saw strong booking momentum across 2024 and 2025 sailings, with Queen Anne’s European itineraries proving to be particularly popular with guests.

Cunard president Katie McAlister said following a record start to the year for the brand with its strongest wave campaign in ten years, the line has seen “unparalleled” bookings during the latest Black Friday period.

“It’s fantastic to see momentum for our newest ship Queen Anne gathering pace, and these results are testament to the enduring appeal of Cunard’s commitment to unrivalled luxury and unforgettable holiday experiences,” she added.

“We look forward to a bumper start to 2024 with ever-increasing demand for Queen Anne as we approach the final countdown to her maiden voyage in May.”

Cunard demonstrates commitment to agents ahead of Black Friday

It comes after the line earlier this year announced plans to host up to 500 of its most engaged travel agent partners on board Queen Anne within the first month of the ship’s launch next May.

Around 200 agents will have the opportunity to board the vessel at the 2024 CLIA UK and Ireland Conference between 23-25 May 2024. The line will also host agents on two overnight experiences from Southampton as part of its operational sales drive.

More details on how agents can be involved with these events will be available on the Shine Rewards Club platform.
