Douro Queen had an extensive refurbishment in summer 2022 and she now presents herself in bright colours and with a high-quality, modern interior design. On board, the cabins and all the public areas have been given a new, appealing design. The elegant outdoor furniture on the sun deck and the pool, invite you to relax and watch the magnificent river landscape passing by in the Douro Valley.

Taking advantage of the warm Portuguese weather, MS Douro Queen’s sun deck runs the length of the ship, offering a swimming pool for a refreshing dip, comfortable loungers for relaxation, as well as tables and chairs for socialising. Those seeking a little shade will appreciate the covered seating area, ensuring everyone has somewhere comfortable to enjoy the panoramic views of the Douro Valley’s picturesque terraces.

The main deck is where you will find the passenger’s reception desk, the cruise director’s office, the lounge, the gift shop and the panorama salon with bar, offering live music in the evenings, or a comfortable spot to indulge in a good book.

Located on the lower deck, the charming restaurant offers a range of local Portuguese delicacies, or international dishes to suit all tastes, accompanied by fine wines from the world-famous grape-growing region through which you will be travelling.
