Launched in 2011, the M.V. Mahabaahu sails the Brahmaputra river in Asia. Accommodating up to 46 guests, the ship is 55m long and 10m wide. It has a total of five decks, including one inside the hull and the top deck as an open sundeck. It is powered by three marine engines and four generators.

Accommodation

Three room grades are available on the ship: Suites, Superior cabins with Balcony, and Superior cabins without Balcony. In the room, you will find an unlimited supply of mineral water, and electric mini safe, central AC with individual control, a make up mirror, and generous close space and under-bed storage. The bed features imported quality linens with duvet and two kind of pillows (on demand), as well as a premium mattress. The bathroom features a shower and branded quality fittings, as well as bathrobes and slippers. The Spa-branded amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and moisturiser.

Suites

There are two Suites onboard the ship, each 283.2 square feet. They feature a very Assamese décor, with silk panel in golden moga silkk and White Eri silk shears. The rooms also include a panoramic glass window, leading to a private balcony overlooking the Brahmaputra river.


Superior Cabins (with Balcony)

There are nine Superior Cabins with Balcony onboard the ship, each 206 square feet, with the exception of rooms 109 and 110 which are 230 square feet. They feature a very Assamese décor, with silk panel in golden moga silkk and White Eri silk shears. The rooms also include a panoramic glass window, leading to a private balcony overlooking the Brahmaputra river.

Superior Cabins (without Balcony)

There are twelve Superior Cabins with Balcony onboard the ship, each 150 square feet. They feature a very Assamese décor, with silk panel in golden moga silkk and White Eri silk shears. The rooms also include a panoramic glass window overlooking the Brahmaputra river.

Entertainment

Soma Lounge

The Soma Lounge is the place to relax and enjoy a drink on the ship. Guests can also enjoy complimentary coffee, water and tea all day round.

Donyi Polo Deck

Spend some time relaxing in the sun, or gazing at the shores of the Brahmaputra river. There, you can also enjoy gym and relaxation classes taught by the crew.

Dining

Restaurant Mungri Mungram

The restaurant offers buffet breakfast, buffet lunch, semi-seated dinner and seated theme dinners. It features an extensive wine list with premium wines. There are also daily lean & light menu options. The food is prepared by a local master chef heading an experienced international culinary team.

Pool

Take a refreshing deep and this pool, whilst enjoying the view of the Brahmaputra river and its shore, or spend some time working on your tan in one of the lounge chairs.
