There is a particular pleasure that comes with cruising aboard a smaller ship. Hosting an average of just 350 passengers, Aegean Odyssey is no ‘floating city’. She is small enough to sail rivers and put into the more characterful ports inaccessible to the ‘mega-ships’, the service is more personal and you get plenty of time to interact with the onboard experts.

Yet on the other hand, she is large enough to offer a superb selection of amenities, including two dining venues, several comfortable lounges and bars, a relaxing spa centre and well-stocked library. Cabins are spacious, modern and intelligently designed, and 39 cabins across a range of categories (including balcony) are set aside for solo travellers at low supplement.

Accommodation

Aegean Odyssey features generously-sized suites and staterooms, including a special level of accommodation entitled 'Balcony Class', which offers spacious staterooms with charming balconies and additional amenities including priority sightseeing boarding.

With tastefully understated interiors, Aegean Odyssey combines the best of traditional elegance with all the modern conveniences of a first-class ship.

Owners Suite with Balcony

Located on the Lido Deck, the Owners Suites come with convertible twin beds, a marble bathroom, dressing room with walk in closet, and a separate sitting area. Guests can also enjoy the view from their private balcony.

Guests in Balcony Class will also enjoy a welcome bottle of champagne & Petit Fours, refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, complimentary bottled water, robe and slippers and Molton brown bathroom amenities.

Junior Suite with Balcony

Located on the Lido Deck, the Junior Suites come with convertible twin beds, a marble bathroom, walk in closet, sitting area. Guests can also enjoy the view from their private balcony.

Deluxe Balcony Staterooms

Guests staying in the Deluxe Balcony Staterooms can expect a bath or walk-in shower, sitting area and private balcony offering fantastic views along the way. The stateroom will offer a fixed double bed or convertible twin depending on cabin selected. Cabins 807, 808 on Lido Deck are smaller and do not have a sitting area.

Premium Outside Staterooms

Located on either the Bridge or Lido Decks, these staterooms offer a private shower, fixed twin beds or double bed with an ocean view.

Deluxe Outside Staterooms

Guests staying in a Deluxe Stateroom can expect a private bath/shower or walk-in shower, a sitting area and great views from the fixed windows. There will be the option of a fixed double bed, separate twins or convertible twin beds.

Premium Inside Staterooms

Located on Belvedere and Columbus Decks, the Premium Inside Staterooms have fixed twin beds and a private shower room.

Single Deluxe Balcony Staterooms

The single occupancy Deluxe staterooms are located on Lido Deck (Cabins 809, 810) and come with shower, fixed small double bed and a small balcony.

Single Premium Outside Staterooms

Single occupancy Premium outside staterooms are located on the Bridge and Lido Decks. These staterooms come with a private shower and a European full-size bed. 

Please note: views in cabins 726, 724 on Belvedere deck are partially obstructed by lifeboats.

Entertainment

A variety of classic cruise entertainment options are available onboard, from a 1,000 book library to lounges that provide the perfect pre or post dinner drinks venue.

The Ambassador Lounge

Here, guests can enjoy lectures, seminars and various entertainment acts offered.

The Charleston Lounge

An elegant lounge to sip your favourite drink with friends and fellow passengers. Enjoy an aperitif or an after-dinner drink and listen to our talented musicians. For those in the mood, there is a small dance floor – they guarantee no discos!

The Library

Offering over 1,000 volumes selected by Blackwells in Oxford, guests can also choose from a selection of magazines, newspapers and board games.

Observation Lounge & Piano Bar

Offering impressive views on all sides, a pianist plays at various times throughout the day. Guests frequently meet here to play bridge. This is also a wireless internet connection area.

Lido Bar

Enjoy a refreshing drink and afternoon catchup with your fellow passengers at the Lido Bar.

Dining

The Marco Polo Restaurant

Open for dinner a each evening and lunch on full sea days, the Marco Polo is the ship's most elegant restaurant. Enjoy a casual, country-club ambiance alongside a variety of regionally-inspired menus featuring local ingredients. Marco Polo offers an open-seating policy and complementary wine with dinner. With full waiter service, the food is often Mediterranean influenced.

The Terrace Cafe

With a combination of indoor and outdoor seating, sophisticated interior design and cooking on the open grill, the Terrace Café replicates the charm and ambiance of a seaside restaurant. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner – choose from the grill, hot dishes of the day, a selection of salads and local specialties.

In the evenings, Outside at the Terrace is the perfect place to start your evening. Here you can choose from a selection of mouthwatering appetizers, try our delicious seafood or pick from the wide variety of pizzas. Equal care has been given to the selection of the house wines, complimentary with dinner, served at your table by the helpful waiting staff.

Afternoon Tea

There is something magical about the tradition of taking tea at sea. You’ll find a selection of freshly-prepared sandwiches, cakes and scones – with a cup of Darjeeling and panoramic views to enjoy, it’s a winning combination. Light snacks are available at 10.30pm for those passengers enjoying a late night discussion about the day’s sightseeing.

Lectures at Ambassador Lounge

Each of the cruises feature a lecture programme led by celebrated guest speakers, whose informative talks are sure to enlighten and entertain as they bring to life the wonderful sites you will visit.

The Voyage to Antiquity celebrated speakers have been carefully selected for their knowledge of the art, history, archaeology, architecture, wine and cuisine of the areas the cruises visit. Their informative and enlightening talks will entertain you and bring to life the history of the remarkable civilisations and cultures of the Mediterranean and the Far East.

Shore Excursions

Included on your cruise is escorted sightseeing in virtually every port of call – and where they don’t, it’s because they feel that your time ashore is best spent exploring on your own.

You'll be supplied with your individual QuietVox headset, a clever device through which you can hear the tour leader clearly even at the busiest sites, and at a distance. To keep you refreshed, they equip you with bottled water as you disembark for each day.

Hair & Beauty Salon

The Beauty Salon is situated on Lido Deck and the Hairdresser is on Belvedere Deck. The list of services can be found in the cabin compendium and the opening hours are in the Daily Programme. Services are charged to the onboard account.

Athena Health Spa

Inspired by the Romans with their quest for health and the Far Eastern traditions of massage rituals, the Athena Health Spa aims to bring passengers the highest quality massage treatments and specialist body therapies.

Swimming Pool

Located on the Lido Deck, the swimming pool and sunbathing area is a good spot to relax or take a leisurely afternoon swim.
