CroisiEurope canal cruise

CroisiEurope has announced that bookings are now open for its 2023 French hotel barge itineraries.

The cruises will operate through Alsace, Burgundy, Provence, Ile de France and Champagne, as well as on the Upper Loire.

New for 2023 is the Paris, Medieval France & the Romance of Fontainebleau cruise from the Petite Seine to the Yonne.

Guests on the seven-day voyage will visit Evry, Melun, Moret-Sur-Loing and Montereau-Fault-Yonne, with highlights including a visit to the village of Barbizon, and the Palace of Fontainebleau.

There are six departures in total – from April to October – with prices starting from £2,110pp.

Other 2023 hotel barge itineraries include a seven-day cruise on the Marne Canal between Paris and Epernay, as well as a seven-day voyage on the Rhone Canal between Arles and Sète.

Guests who book any 2023 hotel barge itinerary by 28 February 2022 will benefit from a 15 per cent discount.

CroisiEurope UK sales director John Fair said: “Our French hotel barge itineraries are incredibly popular with couples as well as with families and groups of friends looking for a relaxed and intimate journey through some of the most beautiful and interesting parts of France.

“With all meals, drinks and excursions included plus the 15 per cent discount, these cruises offer fantastic value for money and I would encourage travellers to book early to not only guarantee a place on the cruise of their choice but to save money too.”

CroisiEurope has worked with the Bureau Veritas for what is known as the SAFEGUARD certification of its ships.

This programme “ensures the proper application of preventive sanitary measures” on board, the line said.
