CMV launches Winter & Spring 2017/2018 brochure

CMV has launched its Winter & Spring 2017/2018 brochure featuring the new addition to the fleetColumbus, which will make a World Cruise debut in January 2018. This went on sale last Friday (August 19).

Other cruises in the 100-page brochure will be on sale from September 1.

The Columbus World Cruise departs from London Tilbury on January 5, 2018 and includes four continents, 40 ports of call including Shanghai, Dubai, Panama and Suez canal transits. Shorter sector options are available. In addition to the World Cruise on Columbus the new brochure contains a choice of 23 departures with a selection of different durations and itineraries. Three CMV ships will offer Ex UK departures with Columbus & Magellan from London Tilbury and Marco Polo from Bristol Avonmouth. Also included are voyages on Astor to and from Australia & New Zealand.

Lisa Jacobs, Head of Retail Sales at CMV said: “CMV are enjoying a booking boom at the moment which has been boosted by Brexit and 11 UK departure ports to choose from. The popularity of sterling on our ships with a clear and simple early booking offers are also key factors. We are almost CMVsold out for this year and more than 50% sold for next year,  such is the demand for our traditional style cruise experience from agents and our trade partners.”

In the new brochure is a selection of Christmas Markets and shopping cruises for December 2017 that usually book very quickly, especially by group organisers. CMV’s on board Festive Events are also scheduled for December 2017, when guests can take lunch or dinner with drinks and entertainment plus the opportunity to stay overnight on the ship.

Cape Verde has been added to Magellan’s Christmas & New Year Cruise 2017 to the Canary Islands & Madeira making 21 nights for the holiday period, whilst Columbus will provide a 15-night option visiting the Canary Islands & Madeira.

There are also cruises to the Amazon, Land of the Northern Lights, Easter departures 2018 and whilstColumbus is off discovering the world, both Magellan from London Tilbury and Marco Polo from Bristol Avonmouth will be operating a full springtime programme. The brochure offers cruises up until the end of April with Buy One Get One Free offers on most departures.

The Columbus world cruise is available when booked by November 30, 2016 from £8275pp, the equivalent of around £68 per day. This fare is based on two people sharing a twin cabin and includes delicious full board cuisine, afternoon teas and late night snacks, Captain’s Cocktail and deck parties, self-service tea and coffee between 6am and midnight, big show entertainment, cabarets and classical interludes, daytime activities and leisure facilities, Guest speakers and arts & crafts, Porterage of luggage port to cabin and port taxes.

150 cabins are available on board Magellan and Columbus for solo travellers across a range of cabins with a 25% supplement.
