Hurtigruten has appointed Danielle Radford as its new UK account manager in a bid to bolster its trade partnerships
Starting mid-December, Radford joins from Celestyal, where she most recently served as key account and tour operator manager, overseeing a portfolio of trade partners and driving UK revenue performance.
In her new role, she will work closely with Hurtigruten’s UK sales team to grow key accounts, enhance trade engagement, and develop new partnerships with travel agencies and tour operators.
“I’m truly delighted to be joining Hurtigruten at such an exciting time for the company,” said Radford. “With strong growth plans already underway and so much potential in the market, it’s a fantastic opportunity.
“I look forward to working with trade partners across the UK to strengthen existing relationships, build new ones, and help even more travellers discover Hurtigruten’s unique Nordic experiences.”
James Howlett, sales director, UK and emerging markets at Hurtigruten, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Danielle to the UK team as our new account manager.
“She brings valuable experience, insight, and energy, and I’m confident she’ll make an immediate impact as we strengthen partnerships across the UK. Norway remains a highly sought-after destination, and it’s essential that we work closely with agents to highlight the distinctive experiences that set Hurtigruten apart.”
It comes after the line brought in Princess Cruises’ Hayley Moore as its new vice president of sales and marketing.
Moore, who was director of marketing communications UK and Europe for Princess prior to her promotion to the line’s sales lead in January 2024, was previously senior brand manager for Carnival UK.
In her new position with Hurtigruten, Moore will lead the Norwegian coastal operator’s sales operations and trade relationships.
Moore commented: “For me, cruising has always been about discovery and connection. These values are deeply personal and ones I see reflected in Hurtigruten’s experiences for so many guests.
“I’m honoured to join Hurtigruten and excited to share our stories and experiences with new audiences. I look forward to collaborating with such a talented team to elevate our sales and marketing strategies, connect with guests in new ways, and drive the next wave of growth.”
