Celestyal seeks trade feedback on booking tools and incentives

Celestyal has launched a new travel agent engagement survey to collect feedback on its booking tools, incentives and engagement initiatives

The survey – which is live on the cruise line’s social media channels and open to all agents – runs until 15 August and those who complete it by the end date will be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten £100 Amazon vouchers.

The survey forms part of a wider trade-first strategy being introduced by Celestyal, with the results directly feeding into the future agent engagement strategy deployed by the cruise line.

Celestyal’s trade tools include its agent portal, Celestyal Compass, which incorporates the learning platform, Celestyal Campus. This features training modules focusing on areas such as brand USPs, life onboard its two-ship fleet, itinerary information, shore excursions and advice on how to grow sales.

Janet Parton, VP business development at Celestyal, said: “Travel agents play a vital role in bringing our unique cruise experiences to life for guests, so it’s important that we understand their needs and preferred ways of working.

“Trade feedback is essential as we continue to evolve and this survey is more than a questionnaire; it’s a conversation starter that puts the agent voice at the heart of our strategy.”

It comes after the line launched a new tour operator business for the UK market, named Celestyal Travel.

The operation is a new member of Hays Travel Independence Group and is fully ATOL-licensed and ABTA bonded. A dedicated UK call centre has been launched to support trade enquiries, and bookings are commissionable across all elements of the journey.

The new venture features land and sea packages to destinations such as the Greek Islands, the Mediterranean, Arabian Gulf and the Maldives, with more to launch in due course.
