Celebrity Cruises launches new trade podcast for travel agents

Celebrity Cruises is launching a series of digital tools to support travel agents with selling tips and the latest brand updates.

A suite of content and tools will be revealed over the coming weeks, all of which will allow agents to enhance their knowledge of the brand and strengthen their selling skills, the line said.

Celebrity has released the first selling guide, which will act as an online encyclopaedia for agents. The guide – available on the Celebrity Central trade website – includes information on selling Celebrity’s 2022/23 cruise programme.

The line has also unveiled a new reward scheme called Power Up Points, giving agents the opportunity to earn Celebrity Rewards points by interacting with the brand through activities and on social media, as well as through sales.

To kick off the four-week programme, Celebrity is asking agents to share their favourite sales tip from the selling guide by commenting on its UK or Ireland Agent Facebook pages. Five winners will be selected and given £10 worth of Rewards points.

Celebrity Cruises director of sales Claire Stirrup said: “With many agents continuing to work from home, we are continuously looking at new ways we can embrace technology to be there for our partners and give back to them.

“We know many guests are looking for inspiration and planning their next holiday, so our selling guide is an incredibly useful resource to help agents sell a well-deserved, luxury holiday.”
